Coleman Design is a scale model making company, based in Perth Western Australia. Established in 1989, we have completed models for a large cross section of companies and individuals including mining, construction, engineering, marine, architectural and government departments. We currently supply to customers throughout Australia as well as several international clients.
Over 500 models have been completed, some of which have been transported world wide to be displayed in trade exhibitions. With many years of experience we are able to offer advice about the scale and materials to construct your model in order to achieve the best possible impact.
In recent years we have diversified our operations to include the production of full size, working simulators, for training and exhibition purposes by the Royal Flying Doctor Service. With the use of 3D computer modelling, we have been able to produce replicas of both PC12 and KingAir B250 aircraft. These techniques can be used to produce simulators for any project.
With the use of CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting and five axis cutting we have the capability to produce extremely accurate models with the highest quality of finishing. Single and multiple items can be easily accommodated. Electronics are often incorporated into models in order to enhance their impact. Working models are also a major part of our production techniques.
We have the capability to offer delivery to any place in the world, using freight companies which have a proven record in model freight. For smaller models, fully padded and lined aluminium carry cases can be custom made to suit each item. These provide excellent protection for freight and storage purposes.
